The Sustainable Food Project's mission is to enhance student awareness and involvement in the creation of a more sustainable campus food system at UCSD.
Our mission: To enhance student awareness and involvement in the creation of a more sustainable campus food system at UCSD. We support the UCSD Urban Farm Initiative and promote increased sourcing of local and organically produced food on campus, in a concerted effort with existing student organizations. Through education, research, and hands-on activities, we seek to foster a sense of inter-connectedness between students and the greater food system so that they can make more informed daily food choices.
